Pork rice in town 50B. Checkout Mae Sariang Home 1150 — lovely place, figure out clothing bags caussing crease in backpack's laptop sleeve, didn’t see old woman. Ride east toward Hot, stop along river watch locals playing in water — blissful. Find long uphill paved ramp, speed drills x9, 4 stride sprints up slight grade. Arrive Hot 2:30, stewed pork w rice 50B, Mr DIY snack hard forgot chips. Hwy north less scenic. Pray at temple. Arrive Chom Thong Cactus Hostel 4:15, Thai girl speaks Mandarin but not much English, dorm has no locker, wants 250THB, cute dog w hind leg problem. Keep driving toward CM, gas 110B. Ticket to Mochit 6:30 for 694B. Meditate/stretch Ganesha temple, free toilet, lotus n splits twist. Ego+beauty=narcism. Eat pork noodle soup 50B. 6:30 bus on time. Realize at 7:35 that I forgot orange ball at Tartar. “We suffer because we are imperfect.” Bus broke down before Lampang, stranded roadside til 9:37PM pickup. Try change flight + message Mayur about mailing orange ball. Bolt to Terminal21 mall, eat Korean place on Kai. Lanna massage 200B on Kai. Bolt back place 120B. Walk night mkt w Kai, buy 2 smoothies 60B. Shower, laundry, restless. Try cancel flight HCM to stay longer at Kai’s and get orange ball, redo laundry due to greasy rag in washer. Thai girl visit Kai. Walk east beach, weed shops, motobike rental 1000THB/wk 125cc. Bus Jomtien‑BKK 143THB hourly. Local duck rice 60B. Walk back too hot humid. Chill, ham cheese sandwich leftovers. Shower, nap 2hrs. Basically nothing day.
