Sturdy, water-resistant, and the zippers have never failed after a decade. Laptop sleeve, side pouches, and hidden compartments help keep everything organized. The 32L size could be small for some nomads, but it works perfectly for minimalists.

Day Pack – Zomake Ultralight

Super lightweight, collapsible, and washes with laundry. Perfect for day trips. Easily scrunches into the main bag.

Abus High Security Padlock

Hardened steel combo lock - no keys to lose. It’s my go-to, though the shackle won’t fit every hostel locker. Great for crates or securing bags in transit. If you need a cheap backup, hit up Mr. DIY.

Laptop – Asus L210

Lightweight (1kg), fanless, sleek and minmalist. Still running strong after years on the road. Survives everything from x-rays to motorbike trips. Not for gaming, but perfect for writing, editing, and running GhostNomad.ca.

Universal Adapter

No-frills, compact, and it’s worked in every country I’ve visited. Handles my phone and e-reader without needing extra bricks.

Kobo E-reader

Slim, rugged, and easy on the eyes. Slips next to my laptop in the pack. Battery lasts weeks. Great for late-night hostel reading or killing time on long rides.

Nomad Watch

Tough large negative display. Vibration alarm so you don't piss off your dorm mates. Bought it for around $60. Now over $100. Still works. Been through 10 countries, dozens of hikes/beaches, and countless workouts - still runs.

Quiet Ear Plugs

Excellent noise cancellation. Essential for dorm life - far more effective and comfortable than foam plugs.

Massage Ball

Compact and reliable for daily use. I use this massage ball on the bed to target knots in my back, hips, and shoulders. No floor space needed - perfect for hostel life or recovery on the road.
